Julie was an online course creator who knew she had to do video, but like most, dreaded it.
Determined to push through, however, she decided to tackle setting up her equipment all alone. But the camera was wrong, she didn’t know what to say, she feared being boring and she spent her days frustrated.
Her social media posts expressed frustration about the experience because she didn't have the right help. But that all changed when she worked with me, turning her dread into delight...
Although Julie started with the tech frustration – there was more to it. She also felt disconnected when talking through the camera besides spending day after day trying to get the equipment right. And she poured her exasperation into social media, unsure how to fix it.
Once we worked together, everything shifted! I coached her on connecting emotionally with her audience through the camera, helping her feel authentic and engaging.
Then, using my “Easy and Done Equipment Shopping List and Setup” guides, we simplified her tech. She ordered the right gear, and with my help, set it up quickly.
And all of a sudden... Julie was off to the races, making video a fun adventure. She fell in love with it, even creating cooking videos and having a blast!

Here's one tip: Instead of continuing to spin your wheels, take a step back and ask yourself, “What is a different way I can approach this situation?” Perhaps it means getting help. Maybe it's taking a nap and waking up inspired (that's worked for me A LOT!) :-D
