Hey Suzanne Glover here and we're talking about how creating a digital customer journey is one of the most important things you can do online today. So what does that mean?

It means...

Guiding your customer from discovering you to liking you... trusting you... understanding how you can help them and finally saying yes to your offers in a control digital environment.

Beyond that, it includes onboarding, training, fulfilling and upselling as a part of that journey in a controlled digital environment. So everything you say inside your customer journey must be consistent and the best way to do that is through automation. Because manually doing it is difficult...

First, manually marketing. is a ton of work, and...

Secondly, it’s hard to stay consistent even if you're doing it all yourself without any team members. One day you might share one message, the next day another, reinventing the wheel over and over again.

So... since I thoroughly believe in keeping your marketing message consistent, I’ve discussed consistent messaging before. But, this article focuses on its role in automation because it's the best way to walk prospects through attraction, connection, trust and conversion.

That’s why automation is essential. It’s not just about a funnel—it’s about automating lead generation with consistent assets as well as having a backend system that follows up. In my Video Influencing SystemTM - for example – I use a video book trio – which is a video book, audiobook and e-book – as my “customer acquisition” (not just another lead, but an actual customer) that feeds into an automated, yet adaptable system. It's a system that adjusts to where prospects are in their journey, ensuring they get the right message at the right time. This is a huge benefit to your customer who isn't getting irrelevant messages that waste their time. Instead, you're giving them content or offers that match where they are in your customer's journey and where their needs are at the time.

For example, in creating my customer journey, I'll address problems my customers face, such camera performance. But... I'll tackle it from different directions... meaning some people are anxious and afraid in front of the camera, while others are confident—or think they are. These are two variations of the same problem, so I'll build my customer journey to filter people based on how they feel about showing up in front of the camera because a journey for someone anxious about the camera is entirely different from one for someone who’s overly confident.

And this is just an example of how your system can adapt to each prospect’s needs, yet remains automated. And that exactly what I teach in my Video Influencing SystemTM
