There have been many times in my life when I’ve challenged my comfort zone—just like I’m sure you have too. For me, when I’m in the middle of change—or discomfort, I remind myself that in order to make an omelette, you have to break some eggs. I’ve said that to myself numerous times over the years.
Something that’s in one form, YOU, has to change to a new form. You’re in your shell—or your comfort zone, nice and warm, but you have to break out of that to make change happen. And of course, it’s uncomfortable. It hurts, maybe.
But, when that shell of yours is breaking… and you have a mess around with—egg everywhere—just remember that you’re cooking up something special. You can clean up the dishes later. Right now, focus on that change that’s going to make your beautiful omelette.
Which is your beautiful life, beautiful success, beautiful whatever you want. Don’t pull back—break an egg and move into whatever beautiful thing that’s going to come out of what you’re doing today. Even if it’s difficult… Okay? Stretch yourself… You can do it!
