Hey Suzanne Glover here talking about simplifying video marketing. You see, it’s not about churning out “any ol' video” just because you felt like flipping on your phone and talking. It’s really about harnessing video as a strategic asset that's a part of a bigger system. And one of the best ways to do that is with my Video Influencing SystemTM where you create one TRIO of scalable assets: a book in video, audio and a traditional e-book. It's all about strategy...

So instead of producing content over and over without a strategy, you’re using video and automation to guide your customer through a customized yet automated customer journey. This solves the problem of churning out videos just for the sake of content, because, let's face it, that's a lot of work. In fact, I had a client named Tammy who said she'd produced around 600 videos over a period of about five years, with virtually no traction. She was basically following the internet’s typical advice where you post more and hustle harder—but it didn't lead anywhere.

Her problem was her videos lacked strategy and that's a major point I address in my Video Influencing SystemTM

So in my first meeting with Tammy, I gave her one strategic tip, and the next day, she made a sale from the her next video. You see, it's about treating video as a strategic asset, not a time-sink. And... you'll probably notice that many of my posts are not video, despite my promoting the use of video. There's a strategic reason for that.

Here’s my advice: to simplify your video marketing, every video needs a clear purpose. Is it to build trust, educate or drive a sale? What’s your objective... more importantly what's your call to action and where does each video fit into your customized customer journey? My SMART Video Strategy, which is a key part of my Video Influencing SystemTM emphasizes that every video must have an objective and a call to action to fit that objective. That’s the first step.

Why this matters especially if you're over 40-ish, successful and busy because you're juggling family, aging parents and probably having hormonal shifts. So, you don’t have the time to produce videos that don't perform. You need to approach video strategically, and that's one of the core concepts I've emphasized in my Video Influencing SystemTM.

Here's your takeaway... Stop creating content for content’s sake. Start with one purposeful video and feed it into an adaptable yet, automated system that follows up with people according to where they are in their customer journey with you.
